Information about CaravanMoverParts
We are, as our name says, a caravan mover shop. Here at CaravanMoverShop we sell a select range of high quality caravan movers from respected manufacturers such as AL-KO, Reich, and Truma. We also offer a range of premium batteries and battery chargers for your mover.
By offering only a select range, we know everything about all the products we sell. We expect a high level of quality from a product, so that we can provide long-term reliability with a minimal chance of failure. That’s why we don’t sell every product available on the market and why we are not so quick to stock the latest inventions and innovations before we are sure of their quality. Everything we sell must be good so we test all the products we sell ourselves. This means you can be confident of the quality and reliability of all the products we offer.
History
CaravanMoverShop began in 2005. We started a reader offer in conjunction with the Dutch Automobile Club (the ANWB) in the ANWB magazine. This advised readers about the best battery charger for a battery. At the end of that year we added movers to our website. Our first customer was my father who bought an Optima battery with a Ctek charger. In the following years we sold 50-100 movers a year with different batteries and mover-battery combinations. After a few years it was clear that some combinations worked and some did not. I learned a lot about the products from practical experience. I did not gain my product knowledge from theory. I have a master’s degree in International Tax Law from the University of Tilburg and I also have an Economics degree. I worked at a respected international accountancy firm. My work included data analysis – a skill I apply to ensure all the products we sell at CaravanMoverShop provide the best levels of quality and reliability. The products we sell all function effectively and have a long working life, combined of course with our expert advice and excellent fitting and maintenance service.
The reality
The name CaravanMoverShop was introduced in 2009. We have an active presence on the internet and have shops in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. We advertise in a variety of magazines in The Netherlands and even Dutch RTL has promoted our company. We support the Ronald McDonald House in Leeuwarden in The Netherlands and some sports clubs. We work with 11 employers and have shops in NL-Groningen, DE-Huefingen and ES-Málaga.
Our goal is to make buying a mover a pleasure for our customers. A mover assembled by one of our employees will be fitted properly and neatly and, as the manufacturers tell us, the movers assembled by us give the most reliability and cause the fewest problems. We only sell the movers which are the market leaders. For us a mover must be good but must also be expertly fitted and best suited to your caravan.
We sell the highest quality caravan mover brands -Truma, AL-KO and Reich. These manufacturers have many years’ experience of producing movers. We also help when there are problems with movers. If you have problems with a mover you can come to one of our shops and we solve any issues you have. We find that most problems are due to fitting failures and not product failures. A problem caused by substandard fitting is very difficult to resolve under warranty. This is why we recommend that your mover is fitted by us.
Since 2009 CaravanMoverShop is, according to importer figures, the biggest seller of PowrMover movers. Since 2011 we are also the biggest seller of Truma movers. In 2014 we also assumed this leading position the Reich and AL-KO brands. We sell about 1500 movers each year. We are really proud of that!

You are most welcome during one of our demonstration and information days. On these days, the Movers of Truma, Reich and Al-Ko are shown. You can also convince yourself of the advantages of the Optima and Ctek products. We also show the lightweight lithium batteries from Victron, Reich and PowerXtreme.
